Effective Performance Management
(One Day)
The goal of effective performance management is to assist the organization in
achieving its objectives, and to focus on maximizing the skills and abilities of its
employees. To accomplish this, there are really no short-cuts to setting goals,
following-up, coaching our people, and periodically appraising them. When
performance management is not done, or done poorly, there is little chance of a
focused and motivated organization. When done well, employees can accomplish
the ambitious goals that make individuals, their managers, and their organizations,
productive and competitive. Participants will be actively involved throughout
Effective Performance Management in skill-building exercises that will provide
practical aids for back on the job.
